Wait Until Dark

By Frederick Knott

Notting Hill Gate, London. A dangerous con man and two ex-convicts are on a sinister mission. They have traced the location of a valuable and mysterious package to the home of Sam Henderson and his blind wife, Susy and are determined to retrieve it at whatever cost. They start an elaborate scam to persuade Susy to hand it over, but Susy, it turns out, is no easy pushover. Wait Until Dark, made into a film starring Audrey Hepburn in 1967, is often ranked as one of the top 100 scariest films of all time. Thrilling theatre at its very best.
