The Roses

All's fair when love is war

Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman star in The Roses, a darkly comic and sharply observed film about love, power and the slow unravelling of a marriage.

What begins as a seemingly perfect relationship descends into a fierce and often funny battle of wills, as long-buried resentments surface and personal truths are laid bare.

Intelligent, unsettling and uncomfortably recognisable, The Roses offers a compelling portrait of modern relationships and the fine line between intimacy and conflict. A gripping, character-driven film led by two of Britain’s most acclaimed screen actors - not to be missed on the big screen.

Cast: Olivia Colman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Samberg, Allison Janney, Belinda Bromilow
