It costs around £500,000 to produce the summer season across the McGrigor Hall and the Greensward Tent each year - ticket sales only account for 68% of this. This means we need to secure over £160,000 by additional means.
Frinton Summer Theatre is a registered Charity.
Every penny we earn from donation goes directly back into the theatre to put on productions for the community.
Each year, the theatre provides around 20 early-career opportunities across front of house, performance and technical roles offering young people their first experience of professional theatre.
Help us to deliver West End–quality theatre on the Essex coast, transforming Frinton into a vibrant cultural destination each summer. We are committed to expanding our programme, widening participation, increasing accessibility, and continuing to diversify the voices and talent represented across our work on stage and behind the scenes.
Our Trustees and Artistic Director and Producer, Clive Brill, are unpaid and offer their time to the theatre completely free of charge.
If applicable, please Gift Aid your donation to allow us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated.
Help us open the doors to young audiences
This summer we are aiming to provide 50 free tickets for each performance of Macbeth for local schools, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to experiencing live theatre.
By helping us provide free tickets to local schools, you are directly contributing to widening access to the arts, supporting cultural learning, and inspiring the next generation.
Every contribution no matter how big or small makes a real difference.
If applicable, please Gift Aid your donation to allow us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated.
