FRINTON ON-SEA

Frinton on Sea is a special place – an Edwardian coastal development with a feel that harks back to a bygone era. It lies sandwiched between two popular but very different seaside towns – Clacton on Sea and Walton on the Naze.

Its sandy beach is set below cliffs that are topped by a one-and-a-half-mile long greensward. The promenade has no cafes or shops on it – only beach huts. It has a thriving High Street – Connaught Avenue.

There are many sporting and social clubs. It has six well attended churches. The population includes a higher than average number of older persons.

Many residents support the Frinton Summer Theatre. One of the many local associations is the Friends of Frinton Theatre Association.
